Thank you

I have been teetering on the brink of withdrawing from this site. I originally joined for the community support system, however, had found myself in exhaustive defense mode with a very small minority. My great respect for Steve Janek, who happens to be my son's friend and roommate, as well as the great majority of members, has allowed my continued support.
The very basic humanity in each of us needs to recognize the Travolta's have experienced their greatest tragedy... the loss of their child.
John and Kelly devoted themselves to their children and cared for them with every iota of love, nurturing and dedication each of us devote to ours.

Constructive and supportive comments are appreciated

Cassie, I am so glad you are staying! Constructive and supportive comments that uplift parents are appreciated. Although at times many have differences in opinion about how to most efficiently and effectively address issues of intervention and advocacy, we need to have these discussions in a respectful tone while focusing on the greater goal of healing individuals and helping families.
