SafeMinds
The Coalition for SafeMinds was founded to raise awareness, support research, change policy and focus national attention on the growing evidence of a link between mercury and neurological disorders such as autism, attention deficit disorder, language delay and learning difficulties. Our mission is to end the health and personal devastations caused by the needless exposure to mercury, one of the most neurotoxic substances on earth.
Schafer Autism Report
The Schafer Autism Report is a non-profit and non-commercial news service. It is produced entirely by volunteers. The mission is to promote autism awareness and education towards finding the best treatments, preventions and cures for the range of disorders labeled as the autism spectrum.

The work of Treating Autism has three main strands:
We are a Membership Society that provides parents with a lifeline. Members receive a regular newsletter with developments in the biomedical and therapeutic world, a lending library of autism-specific resources, special offers with essential suppliers and discounts on conferences.

We remember Bernie Rimland for a lot of things; a source for support, of knowledge and hope, and --surprising to many-- an available and personal mentor. More than a few were surprised to find Bernie answer the phone himself when they called ARI. Surprised again, by his generosity, then touched by his kindness and inspired by his dedication and integrity.
