About Me
I am an historian and mother of a peanut allergic child. Have just published The History of the Peanut Allergy Epidemic http://www.peanutallergyepidemic.com
Epidemic food anaphylaxis and autism have a similar history. Peanut allergy affects more boys than girls >2:1, and the moment of escalation of this life threatening food allergy occurred around 1990. Many autistic children also have anaphylaxis.
My book outlines some of the history of autism especially as regards the political fall out from the release of Thimerosal VSD Study, Phase I (2000) by the CDC. The manner in which this was addressed offers a glimpse into the future understanding of food anaphylaxis.
I can provide is historical perspective to the epidemic of autism.
I wanted to welcome you to the Autism One.

You can make a difference; together we can effectively resolve issues in a collaborative manner by addressing questions and providing feedback.
My son Jordan has made remarkable progress so please don’t ever give up hope!
Feel free to share your thoughts, stories and wisdom for we are all in this together.
