HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND TO YOUR LOVED ONES!

Today, we are celebrating Thanksgiving “en famille” with the four of us, dear husband, dear children and me. Dear daughter already ate half of the Thanksgiving dessert... so what? With autism we learn not to sweat the small stuff.

Today, we have so many thanks to give to our wonderful autism community that I do not know where to start.

SWINE FLU PANDEMIC = PROFIT PANDEMIC

What are the economic interests behind this swine flu epidemic (falsely declared pandemic by WHO) that we hear about over and over?

THE ORIGINS OF THE SEASONAL AND H1N1 (INFLUENZA TYPE A) VACCINES AND THEIR POLITICAL AND LEGAL RAMIFICATIONS

From Teresa Forcades, MD, September 23, 2009 live presentation, Monasterio de Sant Benet Montserrat, Barcelona, Spain.

A bombshell was dropped from the top of my beloved Pyrenees mountains in Catalunya by Teresa Forcades, a Benedictine nun from Montserrat (meaning jagged mountain in Catalan) and medical internist doctor about the origins of the current seasonal Influenza and H1N1 (Influenza Type A) vaccines which are going to be injected soon to millions of people worldwide in a rather forceful manner.

My little boy and his teacher made the news... good ones!

Parenting Special Needs online magazine current issue features my son's progress thanks to an amazing teacher he had two years ago.

My son keeps progressing. He is riding the school bus independently like a pro and he is 100% mainstreamed in fourth grade with hardly any help from his parapro.

Cheers!

Should a child with a documented ASD in his IEP be punished for being unfocused?

I am starting to lose my Zen...

It is now the second time that my nine year old son comes home from school with a note saying that he was punished for being unfocused. Fortunately he was not physically restrained or beaten up but he did have to walk for five minutes alone at recess. Does this make sense? It certainly does not make sense to me.

Fla. Officials Struggle With School Restraint Rule

Wow! After reading the article below I am so mad!

"Wilson said other behavioral approaches should have been tried first but that physical restraint can be used safely if designed to avoid pain and injury.

WINES FOR AUTISM... A LOW PRIORITY ON MY DISTRIBUTOR'S AGENDA

Last night the FB Wall was staring at me and my mind was going blank after I have had one of those days... My Wines for Autism project is considered a low priority by most distributors. What can I say except that I am a little fish in a big wine pond... Call me the nagging mom I don't take NO for an answer just as I did not take "NO, there is NO HOPE for your child" as an answer either... I will just keep asking until I find the right distributors for my project. Autism is more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes and AIDS combined.

Wines for Autism and how it all started...

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF WINES AND AUTISM

How it all started...

Two years ago while I was having breakfast with my husband at our local restaurant, a crazy idea dawned on me.
I saw all of these little milk boxes on the tables of customers eating their cereals and I noticed the depressing advertisement of a missing child with his picture and a phone number to contact. Although very depressing to read about another missing child I thought that the concept to help find that child was brilliant. Everybody drinks milk except a few of us for some good reason...
