Dear Janice,

I wanted to welcome you to the Autism One.
By becoming an active participant you can support and inspire others. Your sharing experience can lift other parents to help them move forward on this path. Autism can be challenging and puzzling. You can make a difference; together we can effectively resolve issues in a collaborative manner by addressing questions and providing feedback.
My son Jordan has made remarkable progress so please don’t ever give up hope!
Feel free to share your thoughts, stories and wisdom for we are all in this together.
To quote, Brandi Snyder: “To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.”
Should you need any further assistance or information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi Janice
First let me say you have a handsome boy in Jordan. Regarding your thought of networking with others I suggest you blog on a regular basis. Express your concerns, thoughts and feelings, or ask questions.

Now let me extend to you my personal welcome to our AutismOne Social Network. AutismOne is now the “one-stop-shopping center” for information about autism. We have the annual conference in Chicago, AutismOne radio, the Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy and now the AutismOne Social Network (and more to come).
Thank you for filling in your profile entries as these help people with common interests find you.
Helping you interact with others is one of the many things we can do for you. Now here’s something you can do for us. Log in on a regular basis and read the blogs and articles then write a blog yourself. It can be on any subject of interest to you, preferably with some relevance to autism but not necessarily. It can be short or long, whatever it takes for you to express your thoughts. If you have a question then ask it in a blog--people read then they respond. If you see something with which you agree or disagree then please add a comment with your thoughts. This is an open community designed to help and support. We like to hear all sides.
I am looking forward to reading your opinions in future blogs and/or articles.

I will say a prayer for Jordan and you.
With my best regards
Will Price, CFO

A Little About Me:

In what little free time I have, I enjoy scrapbooking. I serve as Secretary for the Autism Society of Northeast Wisconsin. I am the assistant organizer for the Green Bay Autism Meetup as well as a christian parenting playgroup. I have been married for 7 years and have two children: Our son Jordan, age 4, who has autism and a seizure disorder and Sydney, age 2, who is neurotypical.

Why I am a Part of the AutismOne Community:

I have yet to find parents that I can connect with who are "further in the journey" than I am. I desperately need support, answers, and guidance as we continue to recover our son. I also was extremely interested in attending the Autism One Conference and thought this would be a good place to come for more info on that.

What I am Here For:
Mentors who have recovered their children or who have gone through some of the treatments that we are pursuing (MB12, chelation, yeast, etc). More information on Autism One, and how to get there!
Autism Help / Accomplishments:

We have been GFCF for well over a year now. We have been in DAN! protocol for over a year, including an ongoing 9 month battle with yeast. We have been doing MB12 shots since December 2009 and will be doing a chelation challenge in the next month.

My Daily Motivations:

God. When I feel that I can't go any further, I pray for guidance and strength and have been blessed to receive that every step of the way. We have always been provided for, even when we have no idea how we will make ends meet the Lord finds a new way to provide that we never saw coming.

Goals:
Complete recovery for my son, Jordan. I want him to be seizure free, food allergy free, and to lose his autism diagnosis and be able to be mainstreamed at school.
Help Needed:
Mentoring on biomedical. Tips and help for fundraising, we have done some of our own fundraising and have been blessed to receive some grants but could definitely use help getting access to more resources since more supplements and treatments are always being added to our son's recovery plan, rarely is anything taken out.
Help to Give:

Support! I have been through the diagnosis, seizures, food allergies, asthma, hospitalizations and have been fighting for over a year to get our son back with great success.

Hobbies:
Scrapbooking
