The Thyroid Autism Connection
In this lecture Dr. Kellman will discuss his groundbreaking discovery that a large percentage of children with autism have an underactive thyroid that is frequently missed by routine tests. Only through more sensitive thyroid testing such as the TRH stimulation test and a deeper understanding on how various toxins associated with autism can create subtle abnormalities in thyroid function can one detect the thyroid-autism connection. Dr. Kellman will show that the proper use of thyroid hormone guided by the results of the TRH test is the most effective treatment for autism.
