An advocate for families who are living unique life experiences, Karen's daughter, Lorrin (www.Lorrinsworld.com), was injured as an infant by her DPT vaccine. Although doctors discounted her chances for survival and contribution to the world, with Karen's love, Lorrin (a quadriplegic nonverbal, cortically blind young lady with an uncontrolled seizure disorder) lived to almost sixteen years of age and enjoyed a full life with friendships.
