From Preconception to Infancy: Environmental and Nutritional Strategies for Lowering the Risk of Autism
With a national ASD incidence of 1 in 91, and the incidence of ASD in a second child is 1 in 6, many parents are looking for strategies to prevent ASD in future offspring. This lecture will explore nutritional, dietary and detoxification approaches for women prior to conception, during pregnancy, and during early childhood.
David Berger, MD, FAAP
Dr. Berger is a Pediatrician who specializes in holistic pediatric and limited adult primary care, nutritional and detoxification therapies for autism, ADHD and related disorders and immune dysregulation such as allergies, asthma and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Berger graduated from The Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1994 and did his Residency at University of South Florida. In 2005 he opened Wholistic Pediatrics in Tampa. In 2010 he became an Assistant Professor at the USF Nursing College.
