"How Does Your Engine Run?"® The Alert Program® and Autism

“If your body is like a car engine, sometimes it runs on high, sometimes it runs on low, and sometimes it runs just right.” Through the evidence-backed Alert Program®, parents and staff learn practical “engine strategies” to help change children’s levels of alertness, thereby enhancing attention, learning, communication, and social skills for those with autism, ADD, or other learning challenges. All can benefit from learning how to support self-regulation.
