Data Fabrication by the CDC: Why the public no longer trusts the scientific literature
A recent survey of 1,756 parents found only 32% trust information the CDC publishes on vaccines. In 2006, CDC Director Julie Gerberding shifted the agency's focus from science to public relations, creating a mass exodus of its scientists. The CDC has admitted publishing fabricated data, but refuses to retract its misleading publications. Dr. David Lewis, lead author on papers published in Lancet and Nature Medicine that changed CDC guidelines, explains why the public can no longer trust the CDC.
