Communication Solutions for Children with Autism
Language is the foundation of not only communication but true expression of oneself, and in order to be truly useful and meaningful, language must have a framework. Individuals with autism often display four key areas of need; communication, social skills, cognitive skills and positive behavior. With InterACCt, the exclusive language framework used on all Dynavox devices, research-based tools have been provided to address these specific needs. This workshop will identify communication solutions, provide real-life examples, and show you how you can obtain DynaVox devices.
