The Cirque at Snowbird in the Summer
This is a summer photo of a world-class ski area at Snowbird resort in Utah called "The Cirque." This is beautiful in the summer for hiking and the winter for skiing. Between the trees on the skyline to the left side of the picture you can see a faint outline of the upper tower of the Snowbird tram.
One definiation for the word "cirque" an amphitheatre-like valley, or valley head, formed at the head of a glacier by erosion.
