Beauty on a Budget

Come in and listen why it is so important to take care of you. The AHA Heroes will share beauty tricks and tips on how to feel beautiful from the inside out and how to do everything on a budget. Come and learn the secrets from some very busy moms who have learned much along the way. The question of the day is, “What have you done in your 5 Minutes?”

Kristin Selby Gonzalez, BA

Kristin is the Director of Autism Education for Enzymedica and a mother of a son with ASD. She is a National Speaker, Radio Show Host and Educator across the country. She is trained in many diets and sensory integration techniques and holds a degree in Education and volunteers much of her time with many of the major autism non-profits.

Karen Dana

Karen is the Senior Executive Producer of VoiceAmerica.com, an online talk radio network where she was responsible for producing and launching the first program dedicated entirely to autism; AutismOne’s “A Conversation of Hope.” Since her daughter's diagnosis, Karen has been active in many autism-related organizations and philanthropic endeavors. Karen serves as 1 of 5 Regional AHA Heroes for the Autism Hope Alliance. She played a vital role in establishing and implementing the association's mission as a volunteer.

Heidi Scheer

As a national spokesperson and advocate for autism, Heidi has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. sharing her story about her son with thousands of families, physicians, and educators. She is co-owner of Asssemblyshows.com, Heidi performs educational school shows for elementary school children throughout the Midwest on subjects such as conflict resolution, anti-bullying, and diversity. Heidi serves as 1 of 5 Regional AHA Heroes for the Autism Hope Alliance. She played a vital role in establishing and implementing the association's mission as a volunteer.

Angela Woodward

Angela is a national educator and advocate for autism and has shared her son’s story nationwide. Currently she works for the Cause Relations/Autism Division of Enzymedica and is an Autism Hope Alliance Hero. Angela serves as 1 of 5 Regional AHA Heroes for the Autism Hope Alliance. She played a vital role in establishing and implementing the association's mission as a volunteer.
