This is a parents' personal perspective on the effectiveness of medical cannabis on their children with autism, as it relates to symptoms such as seizures, anxiety, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, and pain. This is our holistic approach to treating the various symptoms of autism when conventional medications stopped yielding results.

I am a father of 4 children. My two oldest children, ages 15 and 13, have autism. It is their diagnosis that inspired me to enter the field of Special Education. I have been an educator for 10 years and am in a Doctoral Program in the field of Teaching and Learning. I am also a co-owner of a medical cannabis collective, The Autism & Compassionate Care Connection, which specializes in cultivating strains of medical cannabis for individuals with autism who suffer from seizures, pain, anxiety, etc

Fifteen years later, when my daughter began having seizures triggered by her autism, is what has now prompted me to go into the field of medical cannabis for individuals with autism.
