ADI-R and ADOS in Clinical Practice, Research and Treatment Evaluation
The session will provide an introduction to administering and coding the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). It will include discussion of their use in diagnosis, treatment evaluation and research to date and the potential impact of DSM-V on diagnosis and classification of autism spectrum conditions. Dr. Carol Stott is based in Cambridge, UK and has dual qualifications in psychology and epidemiology. As Lead Trainer with the Cambridge-based autism consultancy, BeginningwithA, Dr. Stott has trained groups of professionals in autism diagnosis internationally. Her research focuses on possible environmental causes and treatment outcomes for autism and related conditions.
