Professor Adams will also summarize the evidence linking autism to mercury and heavy metal toxicity. Finally, he will present the preliminary results of his third DMSA treatment study for children with autism, focusing on their excretion of toxic metals and essential minerals compared to control children, and the effect of oral DMSA on their health.
Medical video conferencing is becoming a powerful tool for bringing expertise to the patient rather than the reverse. Numerous projects are under way for its implementation. It appears that this is a technology with potential for providing much needed expertise in evaluating children who exhibit symptoms of autism.
